Today is the day of change

Today my oldest son starts his first day of Grade 2 and it happens he has lost his first tooth!  With him out of the house I am able to focus on other things like myself!  I am attempting to change my diet.  I'm not exactly sure what the end result will be but I am cutting out sugar and yeast forming foods.  Low-carb, no sugary type things.  High fiber and whole grains (other then whole wheat) and lots of raw foods.  It shouldn't be a stretch since my husband is already eating low carb and no sugar for over 10 years and I'm confident I'll be able to do.  We have always had a relatively healthy diet but in the last year we turned to a lot of convenience foods and processed foods.  So with the start of the new school year I am making a change in my family's diet and vow to a healthier life.
